Dr. Paul Poast is an associate professor of political science at the University of Chicago and a nonresident fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Paul also serves as Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Political Science and Director of the Summer Institute for Social Research Methods. In addition to these roles, Paul is a research affiliate of the Pearson Institute for the Study of Global Conflicts, an assistant director of the Chicago Project on Security and Threats, a core faculty of the Committee on International Relations, and a member of the Center for International Social Science Research advisory board.
