Emirhan Darcan is a Non-Resident Fellow at Orion Policy Institute and a sociologist with a PhD, specializing in criminology and migration. He is also a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) fellow. His current research focuses on the social reintegration of foreign nationals after imprisonment. In addition, he is involved in various academic and practice-oriented projects related to legal counseling and the social inclusion of people with refugee and migration backgrounds. He lives and works in Bern, Switzerland.
