Vincent Carchidi is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Orion Policy Institute (OPI), specializing in AI policy. His background consists of research in critical and emerging technologies, their policy implications, and relevant geopolitical trends. His work is interdisciplinary, bridging academic research in cognitive science with developments in AI. Vincent is also a Non-Resident Scholar at the Middle East Institute’s Strategic Technologies and Cyber Security Program, where his work focuses on the geopolitics of technology, including the Middle East’s role in the emerging technologies revolution and U.S.-China great power competition. He is also a member of Foreign Policy for America’s 2024 NextGen Initiative.
